Fast, easy professional as described

First time buyer, very professional, easy to buy/receive products. I would buy again. Great experience.

Shoes were in great condition, just as described. However, I was disappointed in the lack of care taken with packing the carton for shipping. No filler to keep the shoes from moving around. The extra heel caps were just loose at the bottom of the box. Thankfully, the box hadn’t gotten damaged during shipping or those tiny caps most likely would have fallen out. They should have been put in a little sealed plastic bag or something to keep them contained.

Shipping was quick. The sandals were in good condition. I had been looking for those for a little while and they were out of stock on sezane. They fit perfectly. I feel very lucky! Shipping was expensive and since I was in Canada I paid for duty/customs as well but it still ended up being cheaper than if I’d bought them new so it’s still a win.

last week I bought a “leather” bag of Kate Spade -inside was written Polyvinyl,I bought a T-shirt of Escada ,which was full of spots in front and it was written “no visible signs of wear” and there was a pant of Angona in my bag, which I did not choose .It is too difficult for me to send back these things, because I have to pay the taxes and the duty before.I am really disappointed about your wrong descriptions and to send me something, which I had not ordered.I think ,my basket was changed during my order.Anything positiv:the pieces of Armani were okay-the description was right, but it is too less to give You a better evaluation .

I have always bought secondhand, and there have never been as many places to shop as today! But between all the other online consignment stores (like Farfetch, Vestiaire Collective, Shopbop and What Goes Around Comes Around), I gravitate towards TRR. My reasons are simple: quality and as-described merchandise, prompt replies and ongoing communication until any issue I might have is resolved. Recently, Nick (super down-to-earth) tirelessly assisted me, answering several questions and helping me with a return until I was fully satisfied. And I’m not even a customer who buys (cannot afford) the more high-end designers, even at consignment prices! Sadly, I say this surprisingly because customer service equality is NOT the norm. (At least not in my experience when I occasionally need help.) My basic staples and the more obscure brands with more edgy and wearable “avant-garde” designs are what I search for and find at TRR. I honestly find myself constantly recommending TRR because someone usually stops me to ask where I got my unique top or beautiful earrings.

The experience itself is great. I do think that once you’re paying above 1k shipping should be free

The earings where both missing their studs. They where almost lost on her first waring of them. This should not have been sold this way. They are now at our Jewelers repair now to fix them. Very disappointed in your lack of Honesty.

I purchased two very modestly priced watches, and they arrived ahead of schedule in lovely boxes and protective packaging. Both were Grade 2, so I was expecting a few visible flaws. The clasp scratches are very faint, and no scratches are visible on the bezels or crystals. I will definitely be making more RealReal purchases!

Counterfeit bag sent- very obvious fake. Sent side by sides of fake bag next to my authentic one in another color and i am very disappointed in this site for allowing it to be aold

vERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE

As stated by some other reviews, I believe this company has gotten into the business of selling counterfeit. I had heard nothing but good things about this company from friends so I decided to purchase the classic Tiffany chain pendant necklace and bracelet set for my birthday. Oh, how I wish I hadn’t done it through this company to begin with.Of the two items, the necklace was fake. I am familiar with Tiffany jewelry, as my family all has a chain necklace/bracelet in some variation. I immediately made the decision to return it and buy myself a real one from Tiffany themselves, I also sent a message to a rep to let them know that they didn’t authenticate it correctly, listing all the reasons why, among them there was orange (rust?) spots, thin and flimsy chain links and markings that do not match real Tiffany markings. I returned the item in a store citing my reason for return. Fast forward 2 weeks later and I’m hounding them for a response because I hadn’t received my refund. When they finally gave me a response they accused ME of swapping out the “real” necklace they sold me for a fake! I have sent them the receipts from Tiffany & Co. of the necklace I purchased right after receiving TRR counterfeit item because I had lost faith in this company and didn’t want to risk receiving another counterfeit item. They have yet to get back to me but judging by the other reviews I might never get this resolved. Head warning! This company sells fakes and will turn it on you.

The bag was as described and shipped on time, but I didn’t expect to find trash inside the bag.

The quality is spot on and it’s so nice finding my favorite brands gently used from the comfort of my home. I would love on the listings if it always included the size (more specific than medium) and style for jeans especially when it’s new with tags. And the style is usually listed on the inner tag from some designers but that’s just a picky shopper preference

I have been a loyal customer for over a decade, but my experience over the past year has been truly shocking. My last two orders contained counterfeit items.The first was supposed to be a Saint Laurent shirt. As a former Saint Laurent employee, I am very familiar with the brand’s quality, and this item was clearly fake. When I brought this to The RealReal’s attention, they dismissed my concerns and forced me to resell the item on their platform. I shipped it back, yet never received any updates or resolution regarding the product I originally paid for.The second item was supposed to be a pair of gold and diamond earrings. Upon receiving them, it was obvious they were neither gold nor diamonds. When I returned them exactly as received, the package became stuck with FedEx, which is now demanding a detailed identification of the materials—something I was never provided, as the earrings arrived without an invoice or description. Now, I will likely have to pay FedEx again to ship the item back to me, causing me to miss the return window.Throughout this entire ordeal, customer service has been completely unhelpful. After over 10 years of shopping with them, this will be my last purchase. It is clear that The RealReal is now in the business of selling counterfeit goods.

Do not send your luxury items to The Real Real they will never discuss percentage sharing until items are sold! Also once your item gets to them they do not only evaluate they also put it up for sale without your consent at a price you maybe unwilling to sell it for. A Tomford shoe bought at $1.200 and worn for few hours, no defect or visible signs of being worn was sold at 465$ and the seller to receive $180? Ridiculous

I love therealreal. Ordering is very easy and there is a store near me so returns are also easy. I have purchased bags and jewelry before and have been very happy. I ordered some clothes recently and although the clothes were gorgeous for a fraction of the retail price and were all in excellent condition, it was difficult to get the sizing right so I had to return everything.

I can’t remember if it was mention in the description of the MK bag that it had a large torn spot. I understand the wear and shape problems. But the torn spot was unexpected!! First disappointment I have experienced since shopping with TRR.

The item was described as “women’s” when it is clearly a “men’s” coat. The sleeves were folded inwards so that it looked like it was more proportioned for a female. I think it’s not right to have to pay a return fee when the item was misrepresented

I love my earrings

The website is easy to use and the process was straightforward to purchase an item. I am overall pleased with my purchase and am excited to wear it, but I question the conditon rating this garment had. I, personally, would prefer more detail about the condition of the item in the description. This item was listed as “very good” however when I received the item, the elastic on one of the sleeves was broken and the underside of the sleeve has damage leading to the elastic being broken. This was not noted in the description or reflected in the item condition. It hasn’t disuaded me from purchasing in the future, but buyer be aware that sometimes the condition does not always translate and mending or repair of the item may be necessary.
