Easy to set up, got a quick response and my tech came at my requested time. It was very expensive however. I tipped what I thought was adequate considering what I paid but then I received a feedback request and it asked for 10,15,20 %. That amount would be insane especially when the tech made a pretty decent amount on the installation..

My items where broken by the tasker worse experience ever

The coordination between TaskRabbit and Ikea was horrendous. And they charge an additional 17% to support their team trainings!!! You’re not spending that money on team training I can attest to that. I had to make 10 calls between Ikea and TaskRabbit and it was mainly due TaskRabbits lack of customer service, relying almost solely on text messages. I would call and they would tell me to have Ikea do xyz…they couldn’t call or email Ikea. Really awful. While my tasker did an awesome job, on his own for a 2 person job and finished on time, having to interact the TaskRabbit was a nightmare.

My children made me aware of TaskRabbit and I was relieved. What a great way to find someone who can do small/or large tasks around the home. Task that larger companies often don’t want. The app was easy to use and connected me with someone who could do the work. Money wasn’t taken until the task was complete. I. Was hapy with the completed work.

He was friendly, efficient and professional.

My daughter recommended contacting task rabbit. I was skeptical but Eric was amazing. He was very thorough in asking exactly what I wanted then carefully executed his plan. He took my mirror and art work and held it up and then made sure I was happy. We realized I did not have the proper mounting kits so I gave him the money and he went over to store came back and handed me the change. He then recapped his plan. He had all the right tools, drills etc. I am lucky to call him a gem in my toolbox. Great guy. I will be reaching out to task rabbit and will be requesting Eric again soon.

Too many taskers saying they’re available when they’re not and cancelling last minute

Taskrabbit fees are too high. It becomes very expensive if the job is for multiple days

I needed someone right away and was able to find someone who came within a few hours of my contact.

My handyman showed up early and the rate was reasonable. He even went to Lowe’s in case I needed an item, which I ended up not needing. He returned it on his own time and didn’t charge for that time.

Emily was absolutely amazing! She knew what she was doing, cleaned up after herself, and pointed out her concerns. I’d definitely recommend her for hire, and look forward to working with her again in the future, if needed

The taskers make Task Rabbit inviting. I have used it three times and have received great taskers.

Andrii arrived on time, was friendly and completed all the tasks that needed to be done.

Guys can to assemble my IKEA items. They did a good job on the assembly. But they didn’t haul away the substantial amount of boxes and packaging. I had not used Taskrabbit before and I assumed that because of the association with IKEA that it would be great.It was average at best. Next time I’ll just get a local handyman with a truck.

Easy to book someone and see their relevant experience and reviews. We were super happy with Tyrone. Hard worker who was strong and fast and great at Tetris to maximize the space we had in our storage shed.

The tasker did not communicate whatsoever about the project, his abilities, and his ability to keep a timely schedule. What started off fine turned very bad at the end.

Hired a plumber to tighten connections on our newly self installed bidet. It is still leaking. Someone else had to tighten it. Total waste of money.

I usually love Taskrabbit. However, this time, my tasker completed the work in less than one hour and asked me to pay for three hours. There was a 2 hour minimum which I was aware of – but in person he asked for more and it was extremely unprofessioanl and awkward. I don’t blame taskrabbit as a company, but I am disappointed that there wasn’t a better way to handle or ensure this wouldn’t happen.

Rabbit was great. But when I was reviewing the cost – I assumed the 40% trust fee applied might be just for the first hour. Shocked to see it applied to the whole amount. It has been a while since I have used TR and this was new to me. So they now take 15% off the rabbit’s wages and charge an additional 40%? No longer my first choice is finding help.

He was fast and very efficient. He made the job look easy that it would have taken me hours to do.

Henry C was on time and went right to work putting the buffet and chest together. He completed the job in 3 hours and cleaned up. If you need furniture put together, Henry C is the man for the job.

I have just been charged for a service I didn’t request or receive and am spending a long time waiting for customer service to try to resolve with no option for a call back… How is it that anyone can charge my credit card with out my requesting or authorizing it?

Grant was amazing, unloaded my POD, set up my furniture and gave me peace of mind during my move. He was on time, polite and a pleasure to be around. He helped make my house a home .
