Excellent product, accessories and marketing offers and deals, should have looked into this product and read the terms years ago!

After receiving the Ryoko WIFI system I opened up the package, turned the device on. over the next few days found it to be unreliable and very slow. Intermittantly would lose connection and took awhile to get reconnected.. I decided I would just return the item for a refund since it was to be a backup connection. Backups must be reliable more than anything. Ryoko has a 30 day return policy. I have had the unit a few days. When attempting to return the item I was informed by Ryoko support that they only except returns on unopened and unused items. Asked how one was suppose to see if the item even turns on besides seeing if it will meet your needs they did budge. I just told them next time to forget sending the product just send a rock in the package because once you open the package your return nul and void. to me I have never had this type or return limitation and makes no sense. How is one to test or know if it even turns on. NEVER WILL PURCHASE FROM RYOKO AGAIN. NEVER

You have an agent called, Angel, who helped me set up my wifi connection when I couldn’t link to the internet. She made it so easy with her step by step instructions and the way she had patience doing it.

After Refund Review:As a follow-up to my previous Ryoko reviews, I did receive my TOTAL refund as requested. However, I am not pleased with their customer service. The response time to customer requests is much too long and gets frustrating. Another problem, and why I think the equipment does not work, at least for me, is setting up the password. That is where and when both Ryokos got “offline” and started flashing error messages. I am not sure whether I should use the numbers they created or I should create my own PW. I created my own but it did not work. I still think I will re-purchase the product after the reviews get better.Teresa B.

Definitely not a simple set up! Unless you are good with tech. Customer service not helpful. No refund as I opened it!!!??? Lost £200 as a single mum. I’m gutted!

Fast easy but the hidden cost for the extra stuff and it’s all about making things more convenient but they should offer all the extras for one price or just give it away

This is my second order because my first ryoko router quit working months ago, for no apparent reason. So, Im ordering another one because I really enjoyed having the portable router when it was working.

Haven’t received product yet, just ordered.

I spent more than $220 for the Ryoko device, accessories and prepaid for 6 monthly subscription. I received the device on 2/19/25. After many emails for tech support, it only worked briefly and it quit working again. The most disturbing thing is that it also disabled many functions of my phone. I had decided to proceed for a refund since 2/28/25. I called the customer service many times, no one answered. I have written many emails to their customer support team, they completely ignored my request to proceed for a refund, instead they keep offering me more services with discounts. The reason why I bought this product was counting on their 30 day guarantee for a refund if not happy with this device. As of today, one week later- 3/7/25, they still refuse to give me the required RMA number so I can go ahead and return the product and accessories. . I would NOT recommend purchasing this product.

I learned that the internet connection of 0.5GB provided with the RYOKO is limited to 1 month from the day it was turned on. Trying to understand the cost of additional internet connection, I learned that the only option is to buy service for 88$/month… Trying to understand if I can use local SIM, I was directed to link 192.168.0.1 that does not work… In conclusion – it’s a scam! Comment: After writing my previous review, I received several mails from “RYOKO support team”, one was copied as Ryoko response to my review… all mails were written by AI Bot, none of my replies were answered. Don’t be fool, simply ignore RYOKO’s ads.

If this device does all it claims to do for ONLY about $13 a month? Lets just say I’m thinking of getting Netflix again save my local ‘Hotel’ Wi-Fi is sometime very unstable. What good is Netflix when you can’t watch it half the time? But hey a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot good enough to stream videos at the very least? At that price? Well worth it Doesn’t help I have a massive Steam library either and some game updates EAT a MASSIVE amount of data either. Jury is still out as I JUST ordered it. Using it will tell the actual tale and just under a hundred dollar gamble? Worth it as I can afford it even if it doesn’t pan out. But even IF it isn’t as fast as they claim? CAN stream movies? All is good!

disgusting customer service. Brandnew unit, won’t work, can’t get anyone to help. On hold for 2 hours, won’t return a call, won’t communicate to rectify the issues. Terrible !! Stay away.

I cancelled my order minutes after placing it. It was shipped anyway.Attempts to contact ryoko were unsuccessful. Despite multiple emails there was little communication. The order was tossed in front of the door without knocking or checking if anyone was at home. It was returned to sender the next day. It Arrived Feb 5th. I am still waiting for a refund. Save yourself money and a lot of aggravation don’t deal with this company. If you call them directly you will spend an eternity on hold with awful music.

I really haven’t experienced this apparatus As of yet give me a few days.
