This is for people who like the act of cooking but not having to meal plan. There’s lots of chopping, lots of pots, lots of dishes. The benefit is you didn’t have to research the recipe or figure out the sides or remember to get all the ingredients. And the result is a cohesive meal that usually has multiple yummy components. But yeah, you’re still gonna have to chop potatoes and make a mess.

Loved the recipes we received this week. This is perfect for two people new to “empty nesting”.

This was our first week receiving these meals. The first week was great. I like the variety and the ability to substitute meals if I choose to. These were easy to prepare. Thanks!Eddie Smotherman

Too much food, we wanted three meals and we received 6 with no explanation. Then we could not change the days or cancel the next delivery. The meals are not what we chose since so much extra food is coming, so some we have to try to give away or throw away. Further, the meals require a lot of prep. This is not a time saver as every meal so far requires a pot, a pan and a baking sheet. Cooking times are fast, but cleanup now takes longer. We plan to cancel to try another service.

I like the food. But i do not like sausage or hot sauces or flakes

The food box was AGAIN dropped off outside the building (curb/streetside). I complained profusely about that for a previous delivery. And, because I couldn’t find the box on yesterday, I canceled my subscription–due to POOR delivery. THEN, I later found the box off to a corner, inside the building! I don’t know who moved the box! I want to press forward with my subscription cancel, BUT I will still pay for the box. It does not appear to be tampered with.

The packages and the products are fresh and so perfect. Gives in clear details how to make abd always turns out delicious.

I’ve tried many home delivery meals and by far HelloFresh is superior quality for the cost. The selection of meals is always top of the line. Always fresh, simple instructions, tasty meals and several options to choose from. My husband and I are retired and trying to come up with healthy and tasty meal choices can be overwhelming. HelloFresh makes meal prep easy and delicious without waste.

Too much effort involved. All you do is take out the grocery shopping and I want meals in less than 10 minutes.

The food is delicious. The times for cooking and preparing are a little off. I love the different flavors. The last order I got was missing an ingredient and I got an extra ingredient for another meal.

So far, the quality is pretty good, but we received a few bad potatoes and one of our recipes was missing the thyme. Other than that, everything has been really yummy.

Great delivery and even though I made it it tasted like a fancy restaurant! I’m normally never impressed with my cooking! Love it for a treat a day or two each week.

The package was thawed when it arrived. Needs more ice packs.

I find the recipes and ingredients provided are top notch. The meals are easy to prepare and delicious.

Hello fresh food is fresh. Taste fresh big difference. It does take that long to cook the meal

I like the choices available and the process for preparing the meals is simple. The fact they have microwave ready meals is good too because I don’t want to cook all the time.

I’ve been a customer for a few years now, and overall customer care, Product, delivery service, and of course….quality of food Excellent! We use this service for convenience and price. Yes time is money….we don’t have to search the store for ingredients or look up recipes.

My grandson and I are cooking together. He loves it, I love it. He wants to be a chef.

I like the food, instructions can be overwhelming

The 2 meals we’ve tried were delicious & easy to prepare. Great for portion control. It’s nice to have everything ready to go when we get home from work.

Continually frustrating for those of us with dietary restrictions — specifically gluten free. I constantly have to check every week to make sure recipes meet my needs. There are so many simple switches HF can make in sourcing that would open up menu options — gluten free soy sauce, and pasta to name a few. All the naturally GF menu options are so heavy on meat and dairy, it’s beyond annoying.

Great range of recipes, easy to follow instructions and good quality ingredients so far. Each delivery has been on time, fresh, and packaged perfectly.

Selection of meals is great. Love to try all the new things.

For that reason, I had to call to do it, which then gives you the opportunity to ignore my request. NOT COOL! The charge you made to my Credit Card caused it to be overdrawn. Also, the reason I wanted to try your service is because I am unable to cook for myself right now, but with my medical conditions, I need to eat healthy. Unfortunately, I did realize how truly expensive these services are. One more issue. You don’t offer all that many pre-made meals that I can nuke for 3 minutes and eat. That made it inconvenient. But I imagine if I make my selections sooner, I would probably have more to select from.Still might come back in the future.

I never signed up nor ordered anything from Hello Fresh and they tried to send me an order in January and I said No. Do not send abd they didn’t and I told them to cancel anything to do with Hello Fresh. Well the first few days of March received a charge on mycredit card and again I told them I do NOT want anything from Hello Fresh, but I still received a box but whether Fed Ex driver unloaded it, I said load it right back up because I did NOT order this and they put it back onto the truck. I want a full refund and I do NOT want anything else from Hello Fresh.

I was just looking through Hello Fresh website as I had ordered from them years ago. Before I knew it I got a message from PayPal that they had charged $31 to my account!! And… an order was supposed to be delivered to my old address in Missouri on Monday, March 10th!! I have not lived there in FOUR years! I live in Florida now! Now I have been charged for nothing!! Shame on you Hello Fresh!

Just good service and it is deeply appreciated.

I have had hellofresh for a couple of weeks and have mixed feelings. Pros are the delivery, amounts and good receipts. Cons I’ve experienced, missing items and old produce. Gonna give it a little more time before I decide if I want to continue.

After several weeks we have not had one meal that was not better than expected! Quality of ingredients is top notch. Quantity is right on for two people, easy to follow directions make a great meal every time. The one complaint I would have is the web site makes it very difficult to modify or change meals. I’ll figure it out eventually but it hasn’t been a real issue.

My meal was ruined as they forgot to include the topping to the Shepard Pie! I received a $3.60 credit for a family of 4 and I’m a repeat customer. I’m not satisfied with this credit and lack of Main ingredient.

Good varity of food

Beyond incompatible because of their mistake I now have a debt collector reaching out to me saying I owe 350 CH.I contacted hellofresh over 20 times via email and phone to see if all my finances were in order, providing name, address, and phone number. Each time was told all was good. Then a debt collector contacts me saying I owe them money. I forward hellofresh the message and in the same email chain 2 employees confirm I am good I do not have anything to pay.I ask if they can check the debt collector and see why there is a file on me.They apologize for their mistake – but say they already filed the paperwork so I have to pay ….Unacceptable.

I have yet to receive anything from Hello Fresh.Have I been bambozed?

Am enjoying the menus. The directions are straight foward and not difficult. I find the servings modest at best. Two meals, I could not get the plated dishes to look like the ones in the pictures. The protein is 4 oz per person per meal, modest for most adults for dinner.

Everything is packed in a bag with all the ingredients and it is nice everything is separate because I don’t do spicy so I leave that out of the recipe. Does save time going to grocery store too. It is nice trying different recipes. My husband isn’t adventurous, so makes it harder for me to eat healthier.

Recipes were easy to follow and there was the prefect amount of food for 2!

I have tried numerus to cancel this service, but you guys won’t cancel. I NO LONGER WANT TO RECIEVE YOUR MEALS. CANCEL

The food was just OK (2 Microwave meals). The hamburgers we ordered were just as much trouble…and no better…than making them on our own.I was hoping for more of a time-saving experience.

I received a shipment with three meals in it. I cooked chicken pot pie last Monday. It didn’t come out right but it still tasted good. And I am hoping to make meatballs with bulgogi sauce next Monday.

There was no meat in either of my meals. Chicken and pork were left out of the packages.

I stopped using HelloFresh in the past because the were very fast to cancel my order when a charge was declined. My paycheck never lines up with their delivery options and my payment time is not consistent because it’s based off a time sheet that other people have to process. I can’t control processing times. I decided to reactivate my account thinking it got better. I reactivated on Wednesday knowing I would be paid on Friday. They canceled my first box on Thursday. After receiving my deposit on Thursday night I contacted them and asked them to fix it. Ian with customer service said it was fixed and I would soon receive tracking information. When I woke up Friday morning there was no charge or tracking information. I contacted them again and was told that it was not fixed and also impossible to fix. So Ian boldly lied to me. Now I have to scramble last minute to come up with meal ideas and shop for them which is more costly because I can’t buy exact ingredient amounts. The stores around me also don’t have the selection available to recreate meals like this forcing me to burn more gas to go further to more expensive stores. Every cancellation creates a nightmare trying to feed my family.

Really sick of having hamburgers as a default meal. Might you provide an option to exclude certain foods, such as burgers, pork, or rice bowls as meals that will be sent to us without our specifically requesting them?

These meals were very tasty, easy to prepare and healthy. We love them!

Delivery company changed to FedEx, they didn’t deliver to the door, instead they left the box downstairs. I didn’t receive a message or email notification of the delivery. All my 4 meal paper bags were very wet and broken, the content fell out. This never happened before, not sure what changed.

Loved the variety, the ease of cooking the meals, and the quality of food.

I will never again deal with them.

Every week it feels like the produce is not great quality. Even items that should last weeks are bad when I get them. I’ve also felt like a real lack of creativity. I don’t need green beans with every meal.

Yay!!!! I got my first box today. Everything I will need is included. Can’t wait to make dinner.

You guys sent me green potatoes with purple hue in the middle, idk how fresh you allow your veggies to be but these were not edible.

Terrible customer service. They kept repeating the same line over and over. I thought I was talking to a robot.

This company is awful to deal with. They make it where you can’t cancel from the app. They charged me for three weeks of food I never got or ordered.

I really love how easy it is, and also that there’s no annual subscription.The food was super delicious and easy to make. Very kid friendly too

I skipped the week, by the day I was told was acceptable. I was charged full price instead of the discounted one I should have been, and still sent food that I can’t even eat because I didn’t get to choose it and it will trip allergies.

The amount of wrappings, delivery cost in fuel, the realization that I could buy all of this stuff for less and eliminate all of the above… Decent food, good quality… just too simple to do it as part of my normal shopping..

Charged my card and sent a box without any notice or email except on delivery day.

I received a recipe card for a meal I didn’t order, but am missing it for a meal o did order. Also, I was billed twice! I just returned and am already frustrated

The dishes all seem like they would be tasty however the veggies were not fresh. You could tell that it was previously frozen which turned it soggy. Shelf life should be mentioned when ordering.Shelf life was only mentioned on the products when they arrived. I over bought and had to throw away about one third of my order. Wasted food and money

The delivery was not dependable. The meals took too long to prepare. I am not able to stand for more than 5 minutes at a time and, therefore, the meals took quite a bit longer to prep than stated.

On the plus side, the delivery was excellent and delivered at the time that you said it would come. Also, the food was good. All of the ingredients were fresh and good meal sized portions. However, I. I’m not sure that I properly disposed of the ice packs. They made the box so heavy that I could barely pick it up off of the doorstep and bring it in the house. I am 83 years old and live alone. My plan was to make one meal and have one serving the night I made it, and then other serving the next night. Between the difficulty of getting the product into the house, disposing of the ice packs, and the many many steps involved in the recipes, it just isn’t going to work out for me. I would recommend it for people who have a person to cook with, or have lots of time to prepare their meals. I have prepared three meals so far, and all of them took close to an hour from opening the bag to getting it on the table. The question below about the date of the experience does not allow for a range of dates. My experience took place over the weeks of Feb 23 and March 3.

You wre 3 days late on my order so I cancelled, then the next day my order arrived, My next order was ontime but I had alreadly cancelled. Then the 3rd week another box came but I did not order anything. HOW DO I CANCEL????????

We really liked the onion crusted chicken, bolgoni meatball dishes, we weren’t as fond of the chicken & biscuits, cheesecake was very good and the yogurt bar was dense
