Fast next day shipping. Xj belly kit. I love the simplicity and design of the kit. Front crossmember is build and designed well. Heavy duty stuff. No doubt will handle Dana 60s and 42” tires. Rear crossmember tabs, although are thick 1/4”, they hang out there far and the bottom of the tabs look like they will take a breathing and possibly deform. I will be adding gussets to the bottom of these tabs for added protection from impact distortion. Welding the rear cross member to the inside of unibody, I’ll be first reinforcing/ plating the inside unibody to disperse the load of the rear crossmember. I don’t trust welding directly to the thin wall Cherokee body. Overall I’m happy I went with Clayton off-road over the competitors. I would purchase more in the future from Clayton offroad.

Before, during, and after purchase I called Clayton Offroad. They answered all my questions with consistency. I currently have the overland plus installed but haven’t taken the jeep off the lift in the garage yet. Dealing with the most fun part… the exhaust spacer. Also awaiting the delivery off the driveshaft. As far as installation of the lift kit itself, easy as it can be.

Everything came packaged extremely well. No install instructions but was able to get online and somewhat easy to follow, not my first lift install. Only disappointment was the threads on one end of the track bar wasn’t fully threaded to fully insert the adjustment link. Wanted to give 5 stars but took quite a bit of time to correct the threads…

I got a new skid plate for my daughter’s 09 JKU. HOLY $#!+ is this thing built ! I’m still painting it, so I can’t speak to the installation yet, but I’m sure we could balance that 4-door on this thing without any damage. Love it.

I couldn’t find much on what actual increase in height will be with jk 1.5 front coil springs. I had stock springs, no spacers, with a 10k warn winch and steel cable, warn winch plate, and MORE skid plate. I had a 3” increase in fender height. I still have stock rear suspension and the jeep is almost perfectly level. It drives 100 times better. Better in curves at high speed, better over bumps, more wheel travel going over ditches. It’s just better in every way I can think of. These are worth it just for the increase in on road performance.

Clayton off road was a great company to deal with. They shipped out my trackbar bolt set up quickly. I love that they offer an upgrade that’s bolt on. I don’t have access to a welder so this was a great upgrade!

Excellent customer service, I was unsure what I needed and they went back and forth with me, making sure I got what I wanted with zero pressure to buy anything. Coil springs are as advertised and not too stiff, just right! If I did it again I would have ordered the 3.5” coil springs but that’s on me, not Clayton! Excellent upgrade from the TerraFlex which forced me to live on my bumpstops, just way too soft. I have the Falcon 3.0 adjustable shocks, I had to lock them out on 3 not to bottom out all the time on my Terraflex coils, now I can drive around on 1 (softest) and it’s like a Cadillac without fear of bottoming out all the time. I can actually use my shocks the way they were designed and firm them up just for high speed and bigger hits. The wallowing around is also gone, finally a planted, confident and stable ride. My 2004 Jeep grand Cherokee has your 6 inch lift kit installed. The right front of my jeep is an 1.3 inch taller in the front right in comparison to the left. Also the back right is almost 2 inches higher than the back left. I’m currently away on a trip & I already have scheduled a return to my installer.
